12,400 freight invoices, searchable in three weeks

The problem

Invoices sat in folders as scans and phone photos. Nobody could search them, and month-end reconciliation took days of manual lookups.

What we built

• Trained operators keyed each invoice twice, and mismatches were reviewed by a third person.
• Every PO number was checked against the client's order list before it was accepted.
• Work ran overnight, so fresh batches were ready before the client's 8:00 AM start.
• Delivered as a spreadsheet and a database import, under NDA.
